Recently unearthed by bassist Ted Baird while moving, these are some early demos and mixes of what would become Kid Icarus' 2005 album, "The Metal West." These tracks were laid down on various 4 & 8 track recorders mostly during the summer of 2004. We thought the rough hewn quality of these ragged recordings & performances held a peculiar charm worth sharing. We hope you do too.

Kid Icarus began in 1996 as the musical brainchild of wayward home taper, Eric Schlittler. Over the years Kid Icarus has ... more grown to include a number of collaborators. Releasing albums of home baked lo-fi psychedelia, and hi-fi indie guitar swing. At the time of this writing, Kid Icarus has evolved into a full band sporting the talents of Ted Baird, Jeff Gilotti and Justin Marchegiani. less
